This site was made to get you the player a faster and easier way to get Patches, Mods, and Maps to the games we play on our Desert Combat servers.

In the Downloads tab above and to the right, you will find the latest download for use with our BF1942 DC servers. For those that aren't sure about installing files to your game, we have also listed a detailed description on how to download and install files so you can get more enjoyement out of you Battlefield 1942 DC experience.

The objective of Venatus Una is to have fun while playing games and bringing people together from all over the world. Not to start fights! So Let the gaming Begin and have fun!

Patches
Game patches are usually an update to a game(a.k.a. game updates or patches) that fixes a bug, evens game-play, or adds features to existing game-play.

Mods
Mod or modification is a term generally applied to computer games, especially first-person shooters and real-time strategy games. Mods are made by the general public, and can be entirely new games in themselves. They can include new items, weapons, characters, enemies, models, modes, textures, levels, story lines and game modes. They also usually take place in unique locations.

Maps
Map downloads are usualy slight modifications of the original map or completly new versions of the original, by add more texture shading and terrain. Also some maps are complete custom maps, offering new terrotories and terrian features.
